Privacy Policy
- Confidential and personal information means all information of a confidential nature relating to you and your business that is disclosed to CQIMC in connection with the Services, but does not include information that:
- A. is or becomes generally available to the public (other than as a result of its disclosure by CQIMC in breach of the Contract); or
- B. was known to CQIMC before you disclosed it; or
- C. you have not treated as confidential or have agreed with CQIMC is not confidential or may be disclosed.
- When you register with us, we ask for your name, email address, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. Once you register with us and sign into our services, you are not anonymous to us. We use this information for three general purposes: to customize the content you see, to fulfill your requests for certain services, and to contact you about services.
- We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page you requested. This information is not linked to your account and will not be used to identify you. Information Sharing and Disclosure We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone.
- CQIMC will keep Confidential Information confidential for a period of 6 years after it has received it and will not use or disclose it except:
- a. for the purpose of exercising or performing its rights and obligations under the Contract; or
- b. to the extent required by law, or by any governmental or other regulatory authority or accreditation authority, or by a court or other authority of competent jurisdiction.
- In these cases, CQIMC will not be required to notify you of such disclosure and will not be required to oppose any demand made by such entities.
